The pearl necklace I wore on my wedding day was admired by everyone and they could not believe you could hire something so beautiful. It is a great service and I hope people realise just how easy it is to do.

How do I join RENT YOUR ROCKS®?
Payment by credit card or debit card via secure payments with Protx. Currently it is FREE though.

How much does it cost?
Membership is FREE. Members then select the items of jewellery they would like to rent, the length of time they would like to rent for (either weekly or monthly) and pay the amount detailed for each item of jewellery. Weekly and monthly prices are listed on each item of jewellery's detail page.

Why do I have to pay a security deposit?
All of our jewellery items are of incredibly hire value. In order for us to operate our business with such high value products, our insurance policy states we must hold a value of 25% of the retail value of each item during the hire period. You may provide us with alternative card details for this if you wish. The deposit will not be held until the day your jewellery is dispatched to you, and will be returned to you when we receive the jewellery back, as per your hire period agreement, therefore either 1 week or 1 month. It will not be taken at the point of your order. We cannot dispatch your order to you until we have the full holding deposit otherwise our insurance policy is void. We hope you understand this and recognise the true value of the jewellery.

Are all the items genuine items of jewellery?
Yes, all of our items of jewellery are 100% genuine pieces. We buy from very carefully selected sources and can provide receipts if requested.

Can I reserve an item of jewellery?
Yes, we have a Waiting List. Simply email us the item of jewellery and it's reference number, the date you would like it to arrive and the length of hire you would like and we will put you on the list, subject to availability. We will email you to advise you the jewellery is reserved on the Waiting List, or if it is not available we will let you know that too.

Can I see the items before I rent it?
Yes, we have a Salon, within Winsor Bishop Jewellers. Winsor Bishop has been located at 41 - 43 London Street, Norwich, Norfolk since 1834 and is in its 175th year of trading in fine diamonds and watch brands. The RENT YOUR ROCKS® collection is always available to clients who wish to come and try the items. It is advised to make an appointment.
We also offer a 'same day try on service' available to members on receipt of order.  This is to say once an order has been placed please contact us to arrange a mutually convenient date for the 'rocks' to be sent to you to arrive in the morning.  You would then try on your 'rocks' and return the rocks on the same day.  If you are not happy with your selected 'rocks' we would be happy to exchange them for 'rocks' of the same value or alternatively offer you a credit.
All items of jewellery have been professionally photographed to enable viewers to see as many angles as possible, including close up views of the craftmanship.

How do I know it's clean?
Prior to dispatch, all items are professionally inspected and cleaned. This means you can be sure that it will shine with brilliance. Please note that some scratches on metals and stones may occur from time to time due to these being rental items.

When does the rental period start and finish?
We dispatch all orders on an overnight delivery on Wednesdays to be received by you on Thursday. You will need to return the items in the pre-paid royal mail special delivery packing no later than Tuesday, to be received by us on Wednesday to ensure no late penalties are applied. See Terms and Conditions

What if it's late on return?
All late penalties are written into the Terms and Conditions. We operate the business on based upon reliance of prompt item returns to enable us to turn it around quickly enough to allow the next member to enjoy the jewellery. Therefore we have the following penalties:

Goods received 24 hours late = one week's further rental
Goods received 48 hours (or more) late = assumed as lost or stolen, and therefore the full holding
deposit will be charged including the weekly rental fee and damage deposit.

Is it insured?
Yes. All items are insured whilst out on rental with you whilst you are within the UK or Ireland. If you wish to travel abroad with the items, you must arrange for separate insurance. RYR insurance policy does not cover you for areas outside the UK and Ireland. The insurance is for fair wear and tear, loss or damage. If any of these situations occur whilst in your care, please contact us immediately.

What if the style I want is not currently available on my wedding date?
Contact us and let us know which item you would like and when your celebration date is. RentYourRocks® is constantly adding additional items of jewellery rental to our collections! We continually review and add pieces in popular styles based on trends.

Can I order pieces for other people, like mothers, sisters, friends or bridesmaids?
Yes, of course! It shouldn't be you that has all the fun! RYR does have a limit of a maximum of 3 items per member at any one time for which that member is solely responsible. The easy way to get around this if you require more items, is to introduce a friend and being your Rock Referral programme!

Rock Referrals
When you recommend a friend who then continues to become a member, you will receive a 'Rock Referral' when they place their first order. All you need is 5 'Rock Referrals' for you to claim your free rental up to the value of £150 for a period of a week.

May I order items for events other than celebrations?
Absolutely! Renting jewellery is a perfect solution any time you desire the glamour that luxury jewellery brings.

How often do you update your range?
We will be extending our collection on a regular basis, however members can expect to see a full update on an annual calendar basis.

How will my jewellery arrive?
Your jewellery rental items will be delivered directly to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery. RYR will notify you via email when your order is despatched and confirm the date of its arrival. Also because a signature for delivery is required, select an address where someone will be available to receive and sign the goods during the daytime.

Do I need to pay for postal insurance when I return the jewellery?
No. RYR will include a pre-paid and pre-addressed return package in your shipment. All you will need to do is repackage the jewellery and take it to your local Post Office.
